Continuous Support

We don't leave our partners hanging after placement. We provide tailored support to ensure long-term success for one full year following a trainee’s hire. This includes working closely with your managers, talent acquisition, and HR teams to make the transition from trainee to employee as seamless and cost-effective as possible.

What differentiates VTS from other talent providers

Our program develops talent that is more mature, both socially and technically, than that of most traditional early-career programs. Many of our trainees are career switchers who have previously worked in fields such as healthcare, journalism, the military, education, and hospitality before transitioning into the tech sector.

Anyone 18 or older is eligible to join. This means that our average trainee is older than those in traditional programs (~30).

We welcome individuals across the full educational spectrum, from GED to PhD, because we believe potential is defined by work ethic and commitment, not credentials alone.

There is no fixed “end” to our program. Trainees remain part of our community for as long as they need to grow and succeed. Whether they are ready for placement after six months, one year, or two, we meet them where they are. Not everyone learns at the same pace, and our commitment, to both our trainees and our partners, is to ensure that every individual we place is fully prepared to succeed.

Frequently asked questions

You can code the trainees as interns, apprentices, or contractors for a one-year term. You can also hire them as FTE employees.


Once hired, talent is full-time at your organization. Monday-Friday; 40 hours a week.


We require employers to hire talent for a minimum of one year, but our hope is that they are converted to full-time hires as soon as possible. Some employers wait all 12 months, while others decide to convert at the 6-month or 9-month mark.


Managers have access to our team to help shape tailored curricula that accelerate the onboarding of new talent. They also have ongoing opportunities to provide feedback, which we incorporate into one-on-one sessions and seminars with trainees.
